Hi
I think that those in an IVA or undischarged bankrupts will find it hard to rent.I know that I tried to rent a TV in an IVA but was declined.Has anyone else had any experience of this ?

I have a daughter cant read her phone messages even if I wanted to. Its good to know thanks bagpuss, I may be calling on you next time my daughter texts me, I keep telling her to use english but I dont think she understands it exists on phones.

No need for appologies I was so trying to work it out but couldnt, you know like when you see someone on telly and say whats he been in?? It drives you mad. lol (I thought it meant lots of love, til my daughter told me)

My friends laugh at me as I text longhand and use punctuation!

I find it impossible to text shorthand.... I use Capital letters to start a sentence, commas, full stops the lot!! Guess its my age... sorry it's my age [:D] Well I discussed with my beloved whether or not to extend the warranty and put my views forward i.e. I think extending the warranty is a waste of money! She carefully listened to what I had to say before telling me we were extending the warranty. Hooray for democracy! [;)]
My thanks to Melanie and her team :)

Oh well she who must be obeyed as my dad used to say, has spoken, end of.

Us women and our washing machines eh?

I was distraught when mine broke, even more distraught when I could'nt get my moms out of her house, I did try. Someone lent me the money so I wouldnt have a nervous breakdown, (even though I did deserve one)

I'm sure people think I'm strange - I have absolutely no interest in anything domestic at all! Dave refers to the kitchen as 'that room that you venture into when you want a drink', which I think is a bit of a cheek as I know the microwave is in the cupboard above the oven just in case Dave is out - and I can use it!
