we are pensioners who have a great amount of debt we were struggleing to py mortgage and another loan on it so we sold our home to a company that allows us to rent back but even after this the amount of debt we owe is far above what we have coming in and the only alternative is to apply for bankruptcy we do not have any other income other than pensions we have a small car to get us about we are very worried about what the court may say

Hi jh and welcome to the forum

I don't think the Court will have anything to say, apart from "Yes" to the making of a bankruptcy order.

The Trustee in bankruptcy will look into the transaction you undertook to sell your property in case there is any hint of a transaction at undervalue, but I would not worry about this unduly at this time.
