Can we please now keep this to the original subject? This is not going to help the OP at all.

I am not used to forums and have never used them before so i hope I reply to everyone who has offered advice. I have logged on again as I dont like letting anyone down. It does help me feel better that there are people on here that care. If anyone is curious, I got into a financial self destruct state as a result of a traumatic past as a kid. Basically my mum was repeatedly attacked everyway possible by my dad in front of me. My past has haunted me for years, I still have a broken heart and feel ashamed that I could not have done more as a child. Yes I might be mad definately sad. I look in the mirror and see nobody. too much detail but I am on self destruct and it wont be long before wife and kids have gone.

We always care on here Paul and you will get excellent advice and support.

I think you need something more than pills from your doctor after such an horrendous start in life.

Can you get some counselling which will help you out of this dark hole?

Paul, I really think you need to speak to your doctor again. You're not in a good place and there is help out there. I know it's easy for me to say but don't ever feel guilty for something that happened when you were a child, there is nothing a child can do against a grown adult.

You're not a nobody. It takes strength to face up to your debts and you can be proud that you have done something about them. I know things don't seems as though they are going well at the moment, but we're all here for you and will support and advise you as much as we can.

Please keep posting x

I have been speaking directly to the boss of the company not staff. They have not paid anything to creditors yet, i dont think, after 3 years of payments. My wife and I did not get advice, we just signed the IVA`S did not even read them, I tried and vomited due to my mental health problem.

I hope when I do a quick reply everyone sees it, Skippy, Kallis3 and loads of people have been so kind. I cant believe how many people are on here and how supportive you all are. Thought I would be boring you all stupid with my worries. Sounds so corny but you all have given me some extra encouragement, just got to maintain it.

Paul this does not sound right - your creditors should have received money by now.

Get your agreements out and read exactly what it says in there.

I am hoping one of the professionals will be on later to be able to give some advice.

I presume you have had an annual review? If so then the report you get back after each one should tell you whether or not any money has been paid out.

Paul, keep posting and keep getting advice as needed ---- doesn't even have to be about the debt -- people on here have even found out how to repair cars !!!

Hopefully one of our experts will be around soon and be able to offer better advice.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
