We completed our IVA in march this year after 6 hard years. Credit fix took it over from PGP. We did NOT sign to say we accepted the new terms. After hearing nothing, In April we contacted them to ask what happens now. They said they would value our house to look for equity and that would be arranged in the "next few days". 6 months later we have received no contact and then we get a letter today saying that s PPI recovery company would be calling us! We need this closed! It's ludicrous! What should we do?
Phone them up and speak to them -- they are notoriously bad at communication, but are, apparently good when you actually speak to them. Sort out the situation with equity -- This has to be addressed, assuming you have in excess of £5k equity. Regarding PPI, this can be dealt with by signing over the rights to PPI to the IVA estate, so should not unduly delay matters --- the fly in the oitment is, however, that equity question.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
