We currently have an IVA.What would be the situation if we wished to remortgage our property in order to consolidate outstanding secured commitments.

Hi samantha w and welcome to the forum

This ought not to be a problem, and may even produce more disposable income as you ought to benefit from reduced outgoings. Use a specialist mortgage broker with experience of the credit marketplace, and make sure that you get your supervisor's permission before proceeding.

Hi
Just be aware that if you manage to reduce your payments for secured lending the saved money will increase your disposible income and this will be expected to be paid into your IVA.
