2 years ago (Jan 2010) I managed to fix my prices to January 2015, since then the prices have gone up quite a few times, so I am really thankful I did it. Going to be a shock in 2015 though when I have to start paying the then current prices

Indeed. Considering we are supposed to be the 'backbone of the economy' what are they trying to do to us?

Guys
I feel I need to point out that the UK has the cheapest energy prices in Europe. True, prices are increasing and will only continue to do so whilst we're dependent on fossil fuels but that's because it is becoming more and more expensive to extract them.
As another poster said - I would imagine food prices will rocket after the dismal summer experienced by all.
PS. The b***** government should've managed our North Sea reserves much better in the secon half of the last milenium and maybe we wouldn't be in such a mess with regard to energy and the wider economy (billions and billions of pounds squandered).
