ED is early discharge and IPO is income payment order which I think is where they make you pay, rather than you agreeing to do so.

Not easy I'm sure Mitsu but I'm sure you've thought long and hard and made the right decision. All the best Mitsu x

It's what is best for you and your family at the end of the day.

I hope you manage to find a decent rental place for you and the family.

Hi Mitsu

It sounds like you've made the right decision for yourselves. It's not worth letting your health suffer for the sake of keepin your house.

We're in the process of selling our house, to pay our charging order off (as ridiculous interest rate) and put rest into our IVA. My health was startin to suffer from the stress, and was affecting my hubby and kids too. Like someone said it's only bricks and mortar.

Good luck with finding your new home

all the best love cath

Whilst I appreciate that for some people to give up their house is the right thing, for me it would be devastating.

We've lived here for 20+ years and get on with all the neighbours, I count mine as a home rather than bricks and mortar.

Sounds good Mitsu, I want to move as soon as my 16 year old is old enough to get off to Uni, but I will move out the area as I really don't like living where I do now even though I've been here for almost 15 years.

We lost our home and now rent and love our home. It is exactly the sort of home I dreamed of living in - and now I am!
I hope you will be as happy as we are.
Completion Certificate received September 2012.
