well myself and my expectant partner tried to get place this weekend - i know in my previous posts i said we would save more before trying to move out but she just fell in love with this place in godmanchester - i declared my somewhat shady credit history with them and they said all would be fine - only for my partner to fail her credit check - she has a car loan of 5k and and a credit card wuth 200 quid on - has never missed a payment - she does know on her record he defaulted on cc for a couple of hundred quid in 2003 but she settled in full in 2004 so we are gusessing it must be that - we are gutted as we have also been told by both bedford and hunts council we have got bob hope of getting a council house as our combined earnings are too high - im so angry with myself for getting in this situation with money - especially as ive learnt to budget so well i know we can afford this!
