Definitely worth a look Lesley - my eldest daughter will be matron of honour ( I think thats what they call it) and her dress from ebay was a whopping £11 [:)]...I've stretched my budget and paid for that too [:D]

There are loads of prom dresses on there and your daughter is so talented she can personalise one.

It is definetly work a look.

Daughters dress came from House of Fraser and cost us £150 (on the plastic of course). It was a plain black velvet dress with spaghetti straps and she never wore it again. I've tried to flog it on Ebay and never managed it.

I might be able to get into it myself soon!!!!!!!!!

Lesley, i would be more than happy to donate my daughter's dress. There are pictures in my facebook somewhere. It cost us nearly £300 and its hanging in its bag upstairs. xxxx

Lisa! how generous are you? I'll look at your pics later tonight, daughter is a size 10-12, I couldn't have it for nothing though if it's suitable but thank you x

I'm going to tell daughter this evening and we'll take a look at the pics on FB, we're getting ready to go 6th form open evening at the local Grammar School as it's one of her choices (not mine I hasten to add)!

I've just this minute looked and it's a gorgeous dress and your daughter is gorgeous too! HRH is upstairs at the minute on the phone to her boyfriend as we've just come home from 6th form open evening so she's hyper!

Surprisingly yes Jan, I went with 'I'm not going to like this' as she goes to a select school at the minute but I felt good there and she did too, she wants to study biology, Psychology, Ethics and Philosophy and German and all those areas were well represented and impressed me, we will still go to her open evening at her current school in Feb but will apply here anyway.

She's always known what she wants, the end result will result in her becoming a beautician but she is taking the long way around as she is academic and hopefully get a degree and then do her beauty. Doesn't take after her Mother!
