My hubby used to tease and say he wanted this is the end by the doors as our first dance . I'm sure there's a medal in there somewhere for what i have to put up with lol ;)

Thanks for the suggestions! Neither of us do slushy and the only romantic suggestion we've come up with are Everything I Do and Love Is All Around. The problem is I don't like Wet Wet Wet and Dave isn't keen on Bryan Adams!

Dave's other suggestion was Share the Darkness by the Saw Doctors, but it starts 'I can't say that I love you, I can't say that I don't, I can't say that I wouldn't and I won't say that I won't'! Not really appropriate although I love the song!

Sorry Skip, we went a bit off topic there!

Not fussed on the first two - too slushy and I don't think the lyrics aren't good on the last one! It is up to you though. It's what you both want.

No worries I enjoyed reading the posts and I have to say you're braver than me Lesley - I can't imagine sleeping in a car any time, let alone 7 months pregnant!

I'd be happy if it was just the 2 of us and a couple of witnesses but I don't think my mum would ever forgive me!

It was the days I was in love Skip and would have done anything for him...now it's rare we share the same bed....

You enjoy your day and let your Mum enjoy it too. I wish you all the happiness in the world as I know this is what you really want. xx

We had a song by Sonny & Cher 'I got you babe'. Loved it and was different to what everyone else was choosing!!

Don't get what you mean Ginger, unless you're from the dark side too[:D]

Hiya,

Just scrolled through my ipod. You could have:
Texas - So in love with you
Adele - Make you feel my love
Snow Patrol or Leona Lewis - Run
Savage Garden - Truly madly deeply.

I could go on but you might already be thinking my taste in music is crap!!

Ours was Shania Twain, - Your still the one, really appropriste words for us as we had been together (then) 22 years and were only just getting married. Couldn't afford to until the kids left home [:D][:D]

At the registry office, we had Buddy Holly - True Love Ways for when everyone arrived and the Shania Twain one for us signing the register.

We both like Shania Twain so that's one to consider especially as we'll have been together nearly 15 years.

We did talk about Shania Twain but I think Dave thought I wasn't taking it seriously when I suggested Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under!

Andy, that wouldn't go down too well with either of us - Dave's a Chelsea fan!
