Well done Niobe, that's brilliant! 4lb is a brilliant loss, especially when you haven't got a lot to lose!

Well done Niobe.

Contemplating joining SW again this weekend found a Saturday class so would suit my lifestyle. I've got Birthday money (tomorrow) as I never know what I want after Christmas so could pay for a 6 or 12 week pass, do you consider that would help my motivation knowing I've paid? I know I need to do it for health benefits as much as anything.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Lesley, I've just had a look on the website and they have an offer on at the moment:

"Join Slimming World before 26th January and get FREE MEMBERSHIP and two free weeks (out of 12) when you buy a 12 week Countdown - a total saving of £19.90! OR pay weekly and get HALF PRICE membership! That’s only £5.00 to join and £4.95 weekly – a total of just £9.95 to pay on your first night - a fabulous saving of £5!"

Thanks for that Skippy will head over and have a look. Might give me a bit of motivation if I've paid up front...wouldn't want to waste my birthday money either is my way of looking at it?

Got until Saturday to decide at 9.30

I am the weigh lady at my sw group and they have got the offer on at the moment free membership and if you get a 12wk countdown you pay for 10 weeks £49.50 or a 6 wk countdown pay for 5 for £24.75 and 1 week free... slimming world is great I have tried every diet under the sun and this is the only one I can stick to only gained 3lb over Christmas really pleased as due to me just starting out to apply for an IVA i am mega stressed and have been in binge mode.. also slimming world is good when you are on a tight budget as I cook the same meals for all the family as its good common sense food so not having to buy seperate food for me, total loss now 6st 12lb - 2 stone 2lb to target whoop whoop...x
Inter-locking IVA approved 25th Feb 2013 - F&F offer Accepted 06th July 2017 - Completion Certificate received 20th July 2017

I'm just glad that daughter has moved out so hubby and I can sort our own meals out and we pretty much like the same stuff.

Natural smoked haddock in a cheese sauce for us tonight!

Well done Harrysmummy a great weight loss, thanks for the info. I've just been asked to open up work and unalarm the building Saturday so I'm going to be about early and think I am ready to join. I'll do a 6 week countdown I think initially and see how it goes. It's usually around that mark I get fed up and fall off the wagon.

Roast pork sounds nice as well!!

Fingers crossed for the smoking - I gave up around 16 years ago. Unfortunately it was that that started me on the final slippery slope with the weight gain.

Well done Harrysmummy!

I've got Dave's home made cottage pie tonight, topped with carrot and swede mash - I love it!
