Lost another 1 lb this week, glad to see the scales moving again.

This weeks tip from me...
If you feel hungry and the chocolate machine or nibbles are calling, chew some gum, it is only a few calories per stick and a lot less than the bag of crisps you were going to have, the added extra is it makes your breath smell nice as well

My daughters been home from uni all week and I've been off work so dieting went out of the window to be honest. She's going back tomorrow so I'll climb back on the wagon.

Wow get you Mrs, I'm not doing too bad but not as good as I could be, not increasing though in weight so that's one bonus.

Hope you dont mind a newbie posting!! In December 2011 i weighed 14 stone ( i am 5' 6" ) and was well overweight but by starting to eat a measured amount of porridge for breakfast, some homemade soup at dinner time & a decent meal at tea time (fresh cooked) & by doing 30mins a day workout dvd before breakfast i have lost 4 stone & feel much better for it. It is hard work keeping up with it but i keep thinking to myself how hard it was to lose the weight & do not want it going back on again. I have gone from a waist 38 to a 30/32 & am very proud of myself for doing so well. I have a treat on Sunday & have a dessert after dinner but have no sweets, crisps or biscuits at all - difficult i know but i just figure that one would lead to another. The hardest part is keeping going on my own as i cant afford weight watchers or to join a gym ( although i wouldnt have time to go anyway ).

Steve.

I didn't go to fat club on Saturday morning - I decided to go shopping instead! I won't be going next Saturday either as we're going out for a belated birthday meal on Friday night. As of Saturday I'm back on it.

I do need to start exercising though and I'm hoping the weather improves so I can get my bike out. I hate the gym as it's so boring (and full of sweaty people dripping on the machines - yuck!) and I don't swim or do exercise classes so cycling is about all that's left! At least no one tries to speak to me when I'm on my bike!

Good luck to everyone this week - hopefully I can get back on it for the week after next!
