I lost that stubbon 1 lb I wanted, back to what I was before my weekend away, so a total of 25lb lost again. my next goal is to try and get below 10 stone by May.
If life is what you make it, I must have been in a strange mood when I made mine

I put on 1/2lb today but strangely I'm pleased with that as I was expecting more! It was my birthday last week so I didn't point anything and this week I wasn't feeling very motivated so I put myself on maintenance points to get back into it.

I'm planning on being at goal for my first wedding anniversary in September - I've got between a stone and stone and a have to lose. I'm not aiming for any sooner as I'll also have my Florida gain to lose!

Your Florida weight will be worth it though!

I ought to be doing something and will but it's just when.

Exactly Lesley - that's one gain I won't be complaining about!

I actually thought about going to the gym today but that's as far as I got! My excuse is I went to the osteopath this morning and I now ache so I thought I'd better leave it...

I went to Pilates (taster) on Thursday evening, that isn't for me...not sure what exercise is to be fair.

the gym is not for everyone...before I started on my weight loss journey I hated exercise but as the weight has come off and I have seen the benefits and have had to buy smaller clothes it has spurred me on to continue...saying that there are plenty of other activities that do not require a gym membership...just walking in the countryside, doing the gardening (when the weather picks hope) and walking into town is all that is takes....it is amazing how much distance you travel each day without thinking...wear a pedometer and you will be surprised...just going to weight watchers today and walking around the house and to the hairdressers I have covered 3290 steps so far ....1.5 miles - that's without the gym today...days that I head to the gym I cover over 10000 steps and about 5 miles....everyone is different and you will find something that helps with weight loss.... stay positive!

I just don't like exercise! I don't like being in the gym with sweaty people (some people's hygiene levels leave a lot to be desired - they drip sweat on the machines and don't wipe it up! Yuck!) and I find walking boring. I WILL start cycling again but I need light nights and warmer weather for that!

I used to cycle but my knee won't allow it at the minute. However, I'm also visiting an osteopath courtesy of the insurance work gave us instead of a payrise (so thought I'd make the most of it) so the bike may get dusted off again in the summer. Don't mind walking if I've somewhere to walk to, I just can't go for a walk without a destination.

Same here Lesley - if I go for a walk there has to be a reason for it! We do walk along the towpath if we get decent weather but that gets boring after a while.

I bought a new bike last year and I'm dying to get out on it again! I had to stop last year as my knee was painful and as we were getting married I thought I'd better be careful!

I actually feel as though the osteopath has beaten me up - I've got a problem with my upper back and ribs at the moment (makes a change from my lower back!) and she wanted to loosen them off! I'm not sure about that, I think I ache more now!!

last weekend we walked five miles through heavy rain and winds....the goal was a pub at the 2.5 mile stage and the coffee shop at the 5 mile stage when we were back at the car...OMG the home made scones in the coffee shop were to die for !

No way would I be doing that! I can take scones/cakes out of my weeklies so there's no need to earn the points for them!!! [:D]
