Ok...d day.....lost another 1.5lbs this week ...that is now 17lbs in 8 weeks...getting harder to keep motivated and with all the food and drink around at the minute I am struggling to resist the sweetie tin ! One good thing though....I made a turkey dinner last weekend that involved stuffing the bird with fruit and laying it on a load of vegtables and making the gravy with all the juices and cider....the half can of cider that I didn't cook with I decided to drink....yuk ! How the heck did I use to drink that ..let alone the volume of it I used to drink !

Well I put on 1 lb this week but I think that might just be the stage of the month, I do tend to bloat up the, will see what happens next week.

Welldone wiggle1 all the 1 and 2 lb's soon add up.

I drink 2-3litres of water each day, munching in fruit between meals and have completely stopped chocolate...it was.hard and giving up my cider was hard but 7 weeks on i am 20lbs lightened two dress sizes smaller......my free weight watcher 12 week pass from gp really motivated me as my weights is sent to them epach week.

Congratulations Harrysmummy, that's brilliant!

I couldn't give up chocolate - I don't see the point of giving up what you enjoy, I'd rather have everything in moderation and lose weight more slowly!

Well done ...you have done so well and to hit 100lb milestone for xmas is a fantastic achievement......
my weight loss has been steady apart from week two at ww which i lost 5lb at......i have chosen to give up chocolate as this and cider was my downfall.....others manage to loose and still enjoy their treats.....
This week i have stepped up the exercise a little with swimming and walking alot more.....i have five slipped discs so lifting and doing stomach crunches is a no go so my time at three gym id limited to cycling and walking...
Any suggestions on additional things i can do to move some of my tummy gratefully received !

Congratulations harrysmummy that's truly amazing. I've not done well at all the last two weeks - lost 2lbs then put on 2lbs! Too many biscuits and mince pies at work!!! Think I'll leave it until the new year.

I managed to lose 4 inches from my waist over 6 months a few years ago just by pulling my stomach in repeatidly at least 50 times per day. Just imagine you have a string attached to the back of your belly button going through your body to your spine and occasionally tugging it and holding it for 5 secs.. You can do it sitting down, standing up anywhere even on a bus :-)

I didn't lose the 1 lb I put on last week but at least I didn't put any more on, think next week is going to be difficult but thats what January is for.
