Good luck with your walk tomorrow, it's an excellent cause.

WW is £4.95 per week now - there's the incentive to get to goal and for for free!

Thanks Lotte, I just hope the weather improves - it's chucking it down here!

I wish I had the willpower to lose weight without going to WW! I really begrudge paying to be weighed, and I rarely stay to the meetings - I'm usually so hungry by then I just want to get home!

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

Ha ha ha I know exactly what you mean. I have one meal and I'm mentally preparing the next before I've finished!
Just got an excellent recipe though that's only 4 points:
1 wholemeal pitta, couple tablespoons of passata, sliced mushrooms topped with lite mozzarella, sprinkle a few mixed med herbs and whack in oven for 10 mins - serve with a large salad and it's a great pizza substitute. Yummy.

You see, can't stop thinking about food!!!

I've just had lunch and I'm still hungry and planning my next meal! I was quite pleased that I managed to go on holiday for 2 weeks and only put on 3lb - I went away for a week a couple of years ago and put on 9lb!

Well I did the Race for Life this morning. My friend and I walked the 5km in 51 minutes, which was slower than we hoped. The problem was we started nearly at the back and had to do a lot of overtaking on narrow course. We did the first 2km in 24 minutes and the last 3km in 27 minutes so at least we picked up the pace! I'm glad I did it - it was very moving and I had a big lump in my throat thinking about my uncle.

Hi
Thought I would share have just lost a stone! (worry I think, but a stone nevertheless)
Of course, I don't really want to diet too successfully as my clothing budget certainly won't buy me a whole new wardrobe!
Hey Ho

Hey skip, you just did the walk, it doesnt come off straight away. what you do now will tell in a couple of weeks or so. Well done blue shoes, my sister went on a diet and she gave me all her clothes, I am so sorted now for a while. I am just losing sleep and pounds but the ones from my purse not the hip ones. Must be doing something wrong, where did I leave my slice of cake. (short dated from Tesco's, its allowed, right?).

ha ha lilly ur so funny.
over the last week or so i have gained half a stone or so[:(] and that aint gonna be heled by the fact that i am off for six weeks becaues i was using the free gym at work but can't use it now because there has to be a member of P.E staff there.

i'll just do lots of worrying and walking, sure to loose the pounds....

My daughter brought me the ww pedometer its great it tells you when you get to healthy then you earn extra activity points that i save for alchohol at the wkends,im walking about 8 miles aday, the incentive of wine really gives me the push i need to march on.
