Hello, fat Skippy here! I can't seem to get motivated with the diet, and I haven't been back to the gym since my holiday. Next week I am starting - I bought a suit for my interview on Friday (Next sale, well pleased!) and the 16 was a little tighter than it should be. The 18 was too big, but it's made me realise that I have got to do something before I expand any further! I've got the WW pedometer somewhere, so I'll try and work out how to use it - I've lost the instructions so I might need some help Tracy! Well done for the weight loss, you're doing really well x

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

Hmmm, all the slinky little numbers have been sold on Ebay! I've found the WW pedometer and the instructions so that's all set up, and tomorrow night I'm going back to my old class - I will get back on track!

Skippy if you are happy how you are then theres no point but if you feel you want to loose weight then focus on it only you can get in that frame of mind,it has taktn me so long to get there, maybe all the stress im under at the moment is a big factor,to be honest most days i don't know what i'm doing having time to eat doesnt always come into it.
My 5 month old grandson stopped breathing 6 weeks ago his temperature was so high he fitted and with me dad and father inlaw being so poorly i have no appeitite so maybe that is a big reason i'm looseing weight.
I have always struggled as a rule,to be honest i'd give anything not to feel so s..t and stay cuddly,so think on Dave obviously is really happy with you as you are and looseing them few extra pounds who does it really benefit. xxx

Thanks Kerri
as you say we all have our own crosses to bear.Little Archie is on the mend he had a severe kidney infection i must admit ive never been that frightenened in my life even though ive been nursing for 20 years.I think when its your own its a whole new ball game.He is undergoing numerous tests as they are quite concerned as i suffer with kidney problems and they feel like me it could be congenital.
I hope and pray its not the case,i would hate my daughter to have to deal with this.

Tracy, I didn't see your post last night - I'm so sorry to hear about little Archie, and I hope he's on the mend. You are having a really bad time at the moment and I hope that things get better for you and your family soon - you have given me so much support, and you know I'm here for you as well.

Thanks for your kind words - I think I am getting in the right frame of mind to diet so off to WW I go. It's taken me a long time to realise it, but I know that Dave loves me as I am, and I'm doing this for me. I'm the sort of person who needs a goal in life otherwise I just drift!

Hi Tracey
Sorry to hear you are having such a rotten time. Some reassurance for you hopefully, my grandaughter did the same when she was a few months older whilst on holiday, a horrible experience same as you have nursed for 27 years and its so different when it is your own, but it never happened again just need to be extra careful when their temp goes up. We were told baby nurofen was the best by the hospital. Anyway she never had another and is nearly ten now so hopefully he wont have any more either. Hope the tests go well.

Thanks Ang
I must admit things are hard right now but as you know we have to cope.Ive always been a strong person but i think ive been pushed to the limits over the last year. When somthing happens like little Archie being so poorly it makes you take a long hard look at life, and things you think are important don't seem that important after all.
I am now at the stage where i take 1 day at a time and what ever happens in the future i will deal with it as and when it happens.

Tracy xx
