I've joined both so many times I should have shares, I never stick to it and that's why I'm refusing to join anymore.

I need to do something though....she says looking at 4 cakes her boss has left!

Same here Lesley - I think I know more than my leader!

When I joined I spoke to her about the plan and she was telling me about fruit being free so I said that I can't a lot of fruits as they don't agree with me at which point she said in that case fill up on fruit! I got the distinct impression she wasn't listening!

I really begrudge going and I'm thinking of trying to go it alone and go to the gym but I don't know if I can do it.

I eternally try Skippy but not sure I'm destined to be overweight and maybe I should accept it, 5.5 weeks to this wedding and am I any slimmer..........NO!

I keep thinking right on Saturday I'm going to do this, that and the other but in reality will I? x

Willpower girls!!!!! I know that's rich coming from me who could binge eat and then do a starvation diet and then ended up having to cheat with an operation, but that is mostly what it's all about.

I'll keep virtually giving you a kick to keep you on the right path!

If you do weight watchers on direct debit its only £19.99 per month so may work out slightly cheaper than the opposition :)
Your comment Judo made me laugh - the slowly slowly catchy monkey as thats what hubby says to me frequently and i'd never heard of it before then .
I'm determined though, If I can wade through and sort out our debt problems i'm sure i can crack this one too.
Keep up the good work all x

Flow, Well done on your weight loss, that is great stuff! Keep going :)
As for WW, I am like you Skippy. I still follow the old plan. Been doing it for so long that quite frankly I can't be bothered to try and start with something new. I have joined and left groups that many times over the last year or so that I have run out of places to go now and dare not go back to my old group as they would probably all just laugh in my face!!

Why don't we all pick a day in the not too distant future and make that day our fresh start! We can all go on a WW mad one and perhaps come back here with a virtual weigh in once a week too!

Sounds like a plan judo. Count me in :) You should try the new pro points. I was septical at first and didnt really habe the time to take it all in but actually now 3 weeks in i'm enjoying it and feels tons fuller and better already. If you feel the need to return to meetings you go ahead. You wont be the only one returning for what seems the millionth time theres thousands out there that do that to. I'm guilty too. But thought of sticking to the competition at work and the chnace of winning the little pot at the end of each month will help to keep me on track all the more :)

To be honest Struzzo, although I do need the discipline of being weighed every week I just found it a waste of £5. I never stopped for the meetings at all. Just got weighed and went.
I might nick mother in laws book at the weekend and try to have another read through pro points. See if I can bring myself to start over again!

yeah i was the same if i'm honest. My youngest always wanted to come too so i couldnt concentrate on the lesson either. Plus it cost me loads on the goodies they sell just trying to keep him quiet whilst i was there. With the support of each other we can do it!!!!

Count me in as well!

I tried Pro Points for a few days but kept way over my points as I couldn't fit in enough protein and PPs seems very anti carbs.

I've got the calculator and scales for the old points and I begrudge replacing them! I'll stick with old points and carry on having Saturday off - I'll go mad if I don't!

Well, I think if there is interest we should certainly give it a go. Somebody could always keep a spreadsheet of everybodys weight. Starting weights could be mailed privately if you don't want anybody else knowing and then losses or gains calculated from it each week.
I think it's doable(if that is a word!) :)

I don't mind keeping a spreadsheet - it might motivate me!

I'm away until the weekend so I'll weigh in on Monday morning and then I'll go back to my Saturday morning weigh in.

I'll leave the spreadsheets with you! Never got the hang of them! I always used to write my weight loss on the calendar every week. Now I'm obsessed and do what I shouldn't do and weigh every day!

I'm worse than that Jan - I usually weigh every morning and night and sometimes a few times in between!

I went through a stage of being very obsessed with my weight. I use to weigh myself after a meal, in the morning, at night, even when I had been to the loo! OH got most annoyed with me after a while and threw my scales out the bedroom window! To be fair it was the best thing he could have done for me. I haven't had a set of scales in the house since. :)
