I love soya milk, although it has to be Alpro unsweetened - I can't stand the supermarket own brand ones, I'd rather put water on my cereal! I don't drink tea or coffee so I don't have to worry what it tastes like in drinks. I've also found peppermint tea helps my stomach and I love the taste of it now.

I was reading on one of the newspaper websites about one of the shake diets - you can have 500 calories a day and some people lost 1 1/2 stone in the first week. The side effects were horrendous though - hair loss, gum disease, constipation. All for £66 a week! I think I'll stick to Weight Watchers!

I did the Cambridge, which didn't cost that much. It was £30 a week I think. Both times I did it, I lost 5-6 stones in as many months. I had no problems with my hair, or gums, but I did get a bit constipated, but of course you're not eating a lot are you? You do get whiffy breath as well, so I was constantly spraying the breath fresh spray!

It was the same when I did the Atkins. At least you could eat loads on that, and it did work.

I've done the Atkins diet a few times in the past, but never again. It's ok for the first few days-being able to eat as much meat, eggs & cheese as you want, but by the end of the first week i would be sick of the sight of chicken legs & pork chops!!
On the subject of milk,i've never tried soya milk but might give it a go.I haven't really drunk milk since i was a child, basically because i don't like the taste.I remember they used to give it us in primary school & it was full fat milk, which used to taste luke warm and sweet[xx(]so it just used to make me feel sick...Whenever i have coffee i just use coffee mate instead of milk.I do sometimes worry that i'm not getting enough calcium, but i do eat cheese and yogurts, and take multivitamins,so hopefully that's enough!!

Oops nearly forgot to post - I stayed the same this week [:(] Not really surprising as I was on a corse for 2 days so skipped brekkie and spent the day nibbling at biscuits and had lovely buffet. Friday I was really naughty...had a meeting and we had fish+chips for lunch...my kinda meeting [:D] Then in the evening I had a huge burger in Franky+Benny's.....so I'm grateful I haven't put on weight [:D]

Must get back on track this week.....hope you all did better than me!

xx

I don't seem to be able to escape from mince pies and chocolate at the moment, but am trying to do as much walking as possible...I feel a definite nosedive into christmas goodies is looming though,so i'll just have to rely on my ever faithful 'control' undergarments to see me through the festive season[;)][:D]!! Hope everyone else is getting on okay.xx

Well done Julie and DM, I've put on weight but hey ho! Kazzy emailed me the day of the FF, she's going through a bad time at the moment but she didn't say anymore. I hope she's ok.
