Was just trying to gauge how long things usually take, I can guess your firm must be really busy judging by the number of clients who post on this forum alone.
Don't mind me, I understand the process will take has long as it will take, each circumstance is different and will require different expertise.
My hubby tells me I always was an impatient Blighter!!!
Will look forward to the call when the time is right.

Hey there Billy - just got back from a little girly supper evening at one of my girlfriend's house - we are all brassic so rather than go out and spend money we take it in turns to have a little girly soiree once a month or so and all bring a bottle and one person does starter etc etc. Just thought I'd have a quick look on here before hitting the sack (which I should have already done! lol) to see if my IVA buddy had been on!! Its so weird to get solace from complete strangers...but you know bring it on - it all helps!!
So far no calls for us but I await with baited breath! We received our Visa Debit cards from Coop today for our personal accounts and hubby rang to check the progress on the business account. Our completed application is between offices and they have asked him to call again tomorrow. So frustrating when I just want to get things up and running. As for getting the IVA through - yes I want to know that it is a goer for us but on the other hand I take the view that the extra couple of months it takes to get approved means extra cash flow for the business to build up - if it goes ahead I so want it to work so obviously the more cash flow we have behind us the better equipped we are for any unforeseens (which you can guarantee there will always be!) So that's where we are really - I received the written house valuation today from the estate agent and also our 12 month trading forecast from our accountant. Just need all the loan balances. Other than that MG and her team have all our stuff so I guess we really are just about at the same stage so a face to face with the famous lady herself will be next (or so I would guess) for us.
So glad you having a better day today, you must be so proud of your little girl - it doesnt take much to set me off these days but your kids doing well at something always pulls at the heart strings. To be honest when I am thinking straight away from all the financial cr*p my children's happy smiling faces are what put everything into perspective. And its great that you and your ex are pulling together - I wish I could say the same for my soon to be ex-brother in law. My poor sister in law is having a terrible time going through a messy divorce and he earns shed loads of money and has given her virtually nothing. Some men hey!
Anyway better stop waffling and get to bed. Really lovely to hear from you and good luck with your update with Melanie tomorrow! I guess ours will come at some point next?
Take care hon and keep yer pecker up!
Thinking of you..lol...Fi x
Still gathering info....but hope to be on the right path pronto!!
Hope you had a good weekend, have been very busy sorting out our house this weekend.
Decided I was going to try and have a weekend without spending any money (other than our food shop). So with hubby weekend on a work, me and the kids set about have a good sort out, we have found lots of stuff to go on ebay or to the car boot. Also sorted some bags of clothes for the charity shop.
Still feeling more positive, had a lovely chat with Melanie herself when I got home on friday evening. She came across as really lovely and not a all judgmental. We still need to send a few more bits of evidence but got that all sorted yesterday and will post letter to her in the morning. Hopefully then they will be able to draft our proposal.
How was your weekend ??? Hope you are ok hon,
