If you are thinking of applying for citizenship in Australia, this is a fairly lengthy process in its own right and will not be concluded by the time you are discharged. I would not have thought that this would stop you applying, but best to check with Australia House to be on the safe side.

HI EVERYONE BEEN AWAY FOR A FEW MONTHS WORKING,EVERYTHING AS BEEN SORTED NOW,ONLY YHE HOUSE TO SORT OUT,WERE GOING TO WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR THE WAY THE HOUSE SITUATION IS GOING THEN WERE GOING TO GET THE HOUSE REVALUED AND SEE WHAT WE HAVE TO PAY THEN,WE ARE SITTING ON £4000.00 EQUITY AT PRESENT,HOPEFULLY NEXT YEAR THAT MAY OF DROPPED,WE HAVE FOUND OUT THAT WE ARE HAVING A BABY IN THE MEAN TIME,14 WEEKS PREGNANT,MY HUSBAND PAYS A BANKRUPTCY PAYMENT OF 174.00 PER MONTH,BUT WE FIND OURSELVES STRUGGLING,WE FIND THE OFFICIAL RECIEVERS EXPENDITURE LIST IS UNREALISTIC,THEY GIVE US 1680.00 PER MONTH TO LIVE ON BEARING IN MIND OUR MORTGAGE IS 500.00 PER MONTH,NOW WERE HAVING A BABY WILL THE OFFICIAL BE ABLE TO CHANGE THE EXPENDITURE AS WE HAVENT MUCH MONEY TO BUY THINGS WE NEED,I KNOW WE WILL GET EXTRA FAMILY ALLOWANCE WHEN THE BABY IS BORN BUT THATS NOT ENOUGH TO KEEP THE BABY SO IF WE PUT FORWARD THIS ISSUE DO YOU THINK OUR SET PAYMENT OF 174,00 PER MONTH WILL GET LOWERED TAKING INTO ACCOUNT OUR SITUATION WITH REGARDS TO THE BABY ANY RESPONSE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED REGARDS C.MC
