I had to write a message to say that after 6 lonnnnnnnng years, we have finally finished our IVA! I tell you, I've begged for this day & it's still so hard to believe.

Aperture were very efficient too!! We made our last payment on the 01/03/16 and received our completion certificate today! Just got to wait until 5th May for it to disappear from our credit file!

Many thanks to everyone for advice and even though I haven't posted too many times, this site has been a godsend.

Congratulations we completed with th apeture back in November and got our cc early January .

Life post Iva is good we have clear credit ratings even treated ourselfs to two much needed new cars with main dealer finance for both of them ( both payments less than our Iva payment)
And next month we have booked and paid for a two week all inclusive much longed for holiday to Dominican Replic.
We are currently SAVING ( something we never did pre Iva) for a new bathroom!

Hope life post Iva is good X

Congratulations. Having just received ours we know the feeling.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

Thanks everyone, very much! I can't wait for may when finally check our credit file and see it's gone for good!! I feel we have learnt a great deal too, its quite nervy to think about life after an iva - we will have a lot of extra income which will be a strange but amazing feeling!!
Congrats to you all who have completed too & hang in there for those who are still treading water - it's worth the wait!! :)
