Just had a call from my IP Blair Endersby and as my arrears are almost paid up so from this August my payment will go down from £368.00 to £300.00. I am so happy lol as I have been living right on the line for a while but I am sure with everything else going up it will not last for long!!!!! [:D]

Lovely news, I'm in arrears too with my IVA becasuse of unfortunate circumstance and the arrears will or should be clear by Feb 09 and I will then be £60 better off, I'm struggling this month for the first time really and feeling a bit down about it, but tomorrow I'll be ok. They want me to go to a quiz night on Tuesday for a works team but I just don't even have the cash to buy one coke to last all night how sad is that! I'm making every excuse I can but they are not accepting NO for an answer! Hopefully July will be more cheery!
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Oh Lesley its horrible trying to make excuses all the time eh.

My works are going for a meal tonight - I'm not going 'cos I know I could use that money somewhere else.Fortunately I have a good excuse as it was short notice and I've said I'm going out with a pal - dream on lol. How times change eh - pre IVA I would have been the one arranging it!

I'm quite lucky with work functions - I've never gone to any as they always end up with everyone roaring drunk and throwing up and that is not my idea of fun. They don't bother asking me now so I don't have to make an excuse!

I'm not really a saddo - honest!

I'm fine about it as it's only a pub quiz, I don't drink alcohol anyway, it's just awkward telling them NO and when you do they insist you go! Why they think I'd be an assett to the team I've no idea unless the specialist subject is debt and IVA! lol then I might get a couple right as I would expect they don't even know what one is!
