Capital One have sent me a letter. They are asking me if i have considered all my options with regards to the IVA and are stating that they have a range of debt solutions to suit my needs. I am to call them. They state that if the IVA proposal is rejected at the creditors meeting they will be in contact to discuss a range of options, the swines !!!! What are they up to ?

I have seen these letters in similar wording - it is all posturing....don't bother calling them.I know someone for a FACT that got the same worded letter I kid you not and C1 voted NO for a £500??? This was less than 0.5% of the person's debt? C1 was outflanked by other creditors who voted Yes! C1 are bonkers. I would predict they will vote NO in your case.....but thats just a hunch.

Yes, i think you are right, posturing. That's fine, i'm getting so many calls today, bullying one's. I'm trying to revise for exams and write an essay, it's getting a bit too much to be honest. The more they bully me, the less likely i am to respond,the more likely the IVA proposal will fail at the creditors meeting, and the more likely i will file for bankruptcy and the more likely they will get sod all. #13;#10;#13;#10;I've been honest with them all, to my credit.If they push me any further, b***** the IVA, i'll just go bankrupt, period !!!#13;#10;

C1 is just one of your creditor?,if they form way less than 75% of your debt then no reason the other creditors wouldn't vote for the IVA and outflank them.But no one can realy predict an IVA outcome. Think Apprentice....

God, this time next week it's less than 24 hours before the creditors meeting, and i really am pooing my pants, i'm shaking as i write this now, what a state to get into.If the proposal fails, i'm gonna be stuck in a DMP for 6 months, then will have to reapply for an IVA.#13;#10;#13;#10;I'm left with £126 per week to live on, for food,travel, etc etc, in London !!!!

Unplug the phone and don't answer it, or look at the number who is calling you and only answer it if you recognise the number.

Those calls are really annoying to the point where in the end the numbers were changed. Yeah that stopped em!
We're willing to wipe the slate clean, give you a fresh start. All that we're asking in return is your cooperation.

We had one of those letters too before our meeting, Doas everyone else says and ignore it or give it to your IP.

Good luck next week.

i got this letter from them also and they voted no in my iva, but were out voted....24.9% voted no in my iva, it was a close call.

I must say i felt this letter very supporting and recieved no calls from them until after the iva was approved, even that call was just to say they would be sending me a default and why they had to do this even though the iva was approved...
