I flew over the Canyon as well! It snowed when we were there and rained in Vegas! You were luckier than me with the slots though - I won £50 (or thereabouts!) and walked away with the winnings. The woman looked at me as though I was stupid when I asked to cash in the tokens!

ha ha ha that's the key cash it in before you lose it again, actually I won $90 earlier that same day - and usually I never gamble! - and treated ourselves to a slap up lunch, but wanted to do something special with the 'big win'!!

I finished paying my IPA last year and my wish is coming true as we're getting married next year. It's not quite what I'd planned as I wanted it to just be the two of us somewhere hot, but I still can't wait!
The main thing is that you will get your wish and have a fab day - the belated honeymoon will be the icing on the cake.

I went travelling all on my tod 2 years ago to Hong Kong and Australia and loved every minute of it! Starting my IVA now has scuppered my dreams of returning to Oz to do my working visa. So I am hoping that I will write a book and be able to move out there on that money!!! What is life withough dreams!
Also I want to do do a road trip down the west coast of America!
One thing I miss is travelling - we love the Gulf Coast in Florida and love New York as well (it is amazing at Christmas even if it is b****y freezing!). I did a coach tour to California, Arizona and Nevada several years ago and I'd love to go back there.
I was sent out to Tacoma, Washington for a couple of months with work as well and loved it.
I can't wait to go on a lovely long holiday to somewhere hot!

I know, I love nothing more that being abroad!! I didn't get a holiday last year and am staying in the UK this year but I am hoping if I scrimp I may get a week somewhere next year!

Same as Kallis...Maldives for me, a lovely little island called Veligandu, when my IVA`s done and dusted.
I posted this as my target to aim for not long after I started my IVA, I said I`d start saving 5p`s and copper and hopefully have enough for the deposit as I near the end of my IVA...Well I`ve managed to collect a reasonable amount in ten months...still some way off a decent deposit though[:D].
When things seem not so good, I look on the island`s website and that gives me a lift...I`ve got to get to Veligandu, it`s the least my Better Half deserves, bless her.
