hi still waiting for said termination letter from synergi. i have done everything bythe book and have kept all confirmation that were sent to synergi. Synergi have sent me another lettar which on reading virtually accusing me of failing to pay . this is not the case as i write to synergi last november terminating the iva sent by recorded. because on speaking to mr sterling last october who i think is my case worker i told him that my wife just had a hip replacement and could be off work an considerable amount off time he asked how long? i said a mimimum off 3 months theres notelling could be longer i did ask if theres anyway this could be held off till she resummes work? He said no -if you dont meet the payments it will go into default. they also mentioned in this lettar that my wife has given up her employment due to ill health this is not the case -my wife is still off work but remains in employment and they knew last october of the said br and now still flogging me off with stories what can i do now? surely synergi now mustbe held responsible? thanks cowboy

Cowboy, what a bad time you are having with all this! Not good on top of your wifes ill health as well!

It is totally bad that Synergi have not sent out your letter.

I really don't know what you can do, but perhaps Melanie or one of the other experts can advise you further.

I do hope you get it all sorted out soon.

Hi
Terrible service from Synergi
Contact the Insolvency Practitioners association and ask them if they regulate Synergi,if they do not they will put you in touch with who does. Then fire off a letter of complaint to the regulator. This should kick Synergi into action

Absolutely appalling that no-one in that firm can take one minute out of their day to write you a very simple letter. Andy's suggestion is probably the only thing that you can do now I am afraid.

hi it has almost been a year in november since i went bank rapct still waiting on synergi for termination letter. FJF i havent heard from in the last 2 months in a fact this has come to a utter stand still. went to the courts to get the bank raptuancy forms personally i cannot fill in these forms as i do not know how to fill them in surely by now after a year(nearly) off waiting there must be something i can do about it we are getting the point off worrying about the creditors getting back to us. If i do find a way off filling these forms out somehow can i get my money back from the bank raptancy people who meant to be dealing with my case? i feel sure between synergi and fjf this shouldnt take a year for this to go to court and ive not heard from either off them in the last 2 to 3 months -help needed- thanks cowboy ps my wife will not be returning to work as my wife has now got artheritis of the spine

The 'service' you've had from Synergi is disgusting.

Have you had a response from the Insolvency Practitioner's Association?

I'm sorry to hear about your wife's illness x

Cowboy

Could you go along to the CAB and ask if they will help you with the forms and give you a way forward. I can understand what Melanie is saying about the IVA council, they write and tell people to stop paying IVA's and then 'help' them through bankruptcy taking a large fee and to stop this the courts are asking for a termination, This is a good thing but in your case it serves to keep you between a rock and a hard place. I am sure someone somewhere must be able to bring synergi to book making them respond to your requests. Its an appauling service as Skippy says.

I hope you find a way forward soon, it cant be doing your wife any good having this worry with everything else. I am sure that in many other professions causing suffering wouldnt be allowed I dont know how Synergi get away with it. There must be a regulator somewhere that can put a stop to it.

You must now complain to your IP's regulatory body, who hopefully can try and persuade your IP to deal with your case in a responsible manner.

I am sorry to say, I doubt that you will get it back. The best thing to do is write but in the meantime try to move forward by getting the forms sorted and saving for your own BR,

Good luck, I am really very sorry that you are finding yourself in this position.

Or you could contact the Insovency Service by reading their publication of how to complain:

http://www.insolvency.gov.uk/guidancele ... ctitioners

Or search for the IP through their website:

http://www.insolvency-service.co.uk/newipsearch.htm

Or from the papers you received when you entered into your IVA will tell you who the IP is. Good luck
