Hi forum people, can you help me with the following please. My IVA was completed as a full and final in August 2012. My Completion certificate was issued on the 13 June 2013. With this in mind how do I answer the below question:
"Has not been subject to any bankruptcy proceedings or any form of insolvency or winding-up procedures (including administrative receivership) in the last 5 years"
If it was from August 2012, then I am covered. If it is classed from June 2013, my position is less clear.
SO, my question is also, what do they constitute as five years? Five whole years, spanning 5 years?
Any guidance would be appreciated and may be useful to other posters.
What date should I say my IVA completed? - Was it when I had my full and final accepted August 2012 or then June 2013 when my certificate was issued? I am asking because I am getting an insurance quote and it has asked me if I have been an IVA for the last 5 years.
From a Mortgage perspective it would relate to either when the Completion certificate was issued or 6 years after the IVA began depending on the Lender - either way though I would suspect you would have to answer yes as it does mean 5 whole years.
