It's a way off for me yet but I'm planning on getting at least two valuations from current estate agents to give an accurate view of my property value when the time comes.

Valuations must be for "forced sale" prices. If that is not stated the agent will give you a higher price to tempt you in. Standard practice.
I'm sure I've got an email from Mel about this somewhere...
I don't see how they can force you to take a secured loan. What if you don't agree to the loan companies terms? You wouldn't sign, what then? They can't insist you sign something you're not in agreement with. For example, you might disagree with the lenders investment policies for ethical, religious or environmental reasons.

I think Greg of CF has been scared off - not been seen for a few days now; although I would bet CF have a presence in some guise on this forum!!

Hi,
Unfortunately not, as stated when I joined I would not post anything on the forum other than posts to ask for an email to be sent to myself.
Queries should be sent to be email address and I will do my best to answer/resolve any issues.

Hi Greg,
I appreciate you cannot comment on personal cases on here and that is understood. But surely you can clarify your own company's policies?
To be fair I really don't think the questions asked are particularly difficult to answer or complex.

I agree...the questions asked are generic and applicable to all not specific to individual cases. Not helpful being part of forum if all the reply is gonna be is 'email me'.

At least Greg is actually responding please be mindful he is the only rep here from Creditfix we know of. I seem to recall other big companies taking their staff off here when things got too overheated

Recovering - you make a good point... That's why I tried to be diplomatic.

I have emailed Greg tiwce today and got an answer within the hour. Although I still have to be passed onto the relevant dept, this is better than the automated response from customer services. It concerns me though that someone else hasn't been able to email the IP herself directly. I think we are so used to the way that Mel used to almost run her company alongside this forum, answering peoples questions directly and only discussing personal issues offline. I think alot of us were her customers because of this forum. Its almost as if CF are against us though, from the odd comment ive seen acknowledging forums, but also stating that you shouldn't believe everything you read on them. I also feel a bit like they are monitoring it as theres such alot of bad feeling. What I will also say is that they really need to realise these are peoples lives here, not just a financial agreement or business transaction. We all have so much riding on our successful ivas, our future happiness and plans for our lives. This is probably why some people are so upset, angry confused and emotive.

I suppose you have to think most of the staff on the frontline have no answers to give us as they don't know and are getting bombarded with questions, I know at my work (different field) we felt like cannon fodder for the first few months after the takeover and there was nothing we could do to change anything

I find it disappointing that CF won't clarify or address generic concerns here on the forum in public. All I can say is that I will certainly share any information/answers here as and when I have cause to speak with CF.
If anyone would like, I'm also happy to set up a private forum away from here (and the prying eyes) where we can talk openly about things. Perhaps we could even have a private sub-forum here for ex-PJG customers.

I too emailed Greg last night and am still waiting on a reply...it was to ask for clarification regarding the secured loan issue, and will certainly share if I get a reply...I too would welcome any information sharing from other PJG/Creditfix people...I live alone, and have told no one about my iva - being able to chat with others about experiences with our new iva company would be really useful.
