Luckily it's dry here with sporadic sunshine but very close, so I'm expecting rain and it is forecast for tomorrow. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

In teesside where i live we suffer from a lot of pollution so the rain is a blessing to dampen it down.

I remember both of the ones in the 70's but 2006 was hot - it was year from hell as we had my parents stopping with us after my dads op and it was really hot during July. I think August was rubbish but September was nice.

I'm hoping for a good September this year as we've got a week off! We usually have good weather then so fingers crossed this year is the same!

You do seem to have good weather in September Skip - I love looking at your pictures on FB.

Luke - my parents came to stop with us for three weeks in July 2006 - we gave up our bedroom as we have an electric bed (hubby's health required it)and moved into the spare one. It was really, really hot for a few weeks. Even the fan didn't help us keep cool!

It was a bad year for me which is why I remember it - it was my annus horriblis.

I actually love hot weather! It was just that we were in a smaller bedroom, had only small windows to open and a small fan!

It was just a bad year with ill health for dad, hubby and me - that's why it sticks in my mind.

I'd move abroad tomorrow if I could.

I'd live somewhere hot any day! I hate the winter.
