Deb, your creditors won't be able to get a charge over your home while you are in your IVA. Hopefully you will be able to do your F&F.
You may find that the IVA gets extended by a further twelve months if you can't remortgage, but you do need to speak to your IP about this.

I will speak to IP but as it's holidays (and my daughter is autistic), you know the situation Jan. I have respite tom so will be able to ring then. I rang last week but no call back. I'm just so worried as we moved away from family to get a property in a cheaper area, suited to my daughter's disabilities and large enough. I know my mum would still be here if I'd stayed in the village and not moved away. I just want to be able to sleep at night.
Congratulations Jan, in a couple of months you'll be passed the halfway mark. Saw pics on Facebook - gorgeous dog. Sounds as if several of your guests wanted to take him home!

IVA started Sept 09. Glad to be on the way to being debt free
I hope you manage to speak to someone tomorrow and get an answer to put your mind at rest. You've got enough on your plate without this.
