Hi,
i've finally got all the info needed to the IVA company i'm dealing with and just wondered if anyone knows what will happen next and how long (roughly) it will take from this point to get an IVA in place, if accepted.
it seemed to take forever to get balances from creditors. i wish they'd been as quick to send them as they are sending letters for payments.
i'm going into panic mode now as the phones ringing all day long and i can't see an end to this at the moment.
thanks

you should get a proposal from your IVA once they have gone through all your statements etc. we had a couple of calls inbetween from Melanie and her team, confirming figures and options available to us.. once you get your proposal you need to read and sign it if meets with your I & E etc. make sure you check it carefully and ask any questions. Once proposal back and sorted generally another 2 - 3 weeks before creditors meeting

I'm sure an expert will be along to advise if I've missed anything!! I'm a bit ditsy like that[:I]
Ang.. 13 payments in.. WOW, thats over 20% paid!! http://angela18.blogs.iva.co.uk/ well here we go

if you wish for a rainbow... then you have to put up with the rain xx

hi connie,

i think ange has covered it all in her post!

as regards to the phone calls just be firm and polite and tell them you are seeking professional advice re your financial problens, if they start to get nasty just terminate the call!

i did sometimes unplug the phone to give me a break, dont read too much into what they say as most of it is just trying to get money from you!

hopefully you will soon be in a iva and all this will be behind you!

barb x

I contacted tsb three times for loan figures and they still haven't sent them. I've sent what I had to IP and hope that she will chase them up as they didn't seem to want to help me. Good luck connie. X

Your case is on our list for processing this week Connie - so expect a call at some stage for a chat with myself! Hope this is OK!

Hi Connie

Hang on in there ... and try to ignore those phone calls [:)]

Really pleased to see how far you've come in a short space of time.
