I was told on a previous post, that if me n my husband seperated then we could continue to pay the iva half each or we could get it formally seperated by the ip but usually one party is favoured unfairly by doing this.I was advised the best way was to pay half & half.Hope this helps

Hi
You will actually both have an IVA even though they are proposed and paid jointly.
If you seperate you can continue to jointly fund the IVA until completion or ask your IP to see if you can seperately pay your IVAs

Hi, thanks for the replies, they are very helpful. I think our best option would be to continue to pay the IVA half each as we have 3 years to go, rather than get it separated just incase it starts to make things difficult if it gets unfairly done!
