My car is currently just about going shall we say....however my sister may be in the position to "give" me her car, when she purchases a new one in the next few months. The car I would be "given" is alot newer and would not require quite so much attention and money to be spent on it - whereas now our contigency each month is spent on my car !

Would this impact on my IVA in any way ?

I see no problem with this at all, what a lovely sister you have as well.

As ever, keep your IP in the loop out of courtesy but as there should be a car maintenance allowance in your budget which you are topping up, as you say, with your contingency, then you should hopefully find yourself a little better off on a monthly basis which is good news.

This will have absolutely no effect on your IVA, assuming that the running costs will be the same.

Have you a spare sister? What a great post to start the day. Wonderful help and no impact on your IVA.
