I think we need at least £200 a month for petrol, as my partner does 50 miles a day to work and I also work, but only about 7 miles a day for 3 days. Anyway with the price of fuel the way it is, £200 seems realistic to me.
However it looks as though we are being given an allowance of £120.00 per month. Is this right?
Travel costs are what they are and just need an explanation if they are above average. Sometimes it helps to have receipts but £200 per month is not outrageous. Speak to the drafter or IP because if the proposal is not affordable at this time it will fail.
We do 60 miles a day and it costs us £10 a day during the week. Have calculated that according to fuel used per gallon and it is pretty much spot on, dOnt know if they will accept it or not though.
Surely this is where what you spend is proven by receipts and thats what you are allowed to spend(subject to fuel going up or down).
Pretty pointless signing up to an IVA where you say you need £250 a month for fuel and your IP says ok we will put £180 to get your IVA approved and worry about it later on!!!
Currently I have NO fuel allowance as my car is ******!!!
Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.
