I've had a poorly back since my mums rotten rottie twisted me around in March 2006 - I'm fed up with it now so if any of the experts have any advice I'd be grateful!

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

Skip, not knowing exactly where your pain is - I can only assume its lower back, ie your lumber region. This is going sound really strange, but try it, as it really works!!

Get out the Yellow Pages, put it on the floor, settle your bottom onto it and lie back flat on the ground!!! Do this everyday for about 10 mins, initially it will feel strange and perhaps hurt a bit, but it does go away.

Hope this helps

Sorry Sadsack, it would have helped if I'd described it a bit better! Yes, you're right, it is the lower back - it's usually just a dull ache but every now and then I get pains in my legs. I'll give the Yellow Pages thing a go - I'll try anything to get rid of backache!

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

No sue, it was actually on a treadmill (told the missus, I was too old for this malarky), waiting for an op, haven't been to the gym since.

Was only kidding Mike!!!

I know only too well the problems with knees - have had 15 ops on left knee in last 25 years - specialists keep telling me I am too young for knee replacement!!! Just goes to show what sport and breaking ones neck in a car accident can do to the joints!!

I am a sales manager in engineering, so my job offers no relevance.

But I do get invloved with customers who go on stop for not paying on time and customers who go in to liquidation/receivership and what i have noticed that from an accountants point of view their is no real difference as to how us the public get treated for debts and bad payment and business customers.

Regards

no matter how bad money gets, theirs stll alot more important things in life

I really don't have any expertise to offer I'm afraid. Unless of course you have a Sea King helicopter in your back garden that needs maintaining!!!! (used to be an aircraft mechanic!)

I do cake decorating (snow white, thomas the tank, wallace/grommit etc etc) if you need any ideas at any time. I also make Christmas cakes!!! And I am available to offer help/advice for those of you on here who are expecting twins in the near future!! I have 9 going on 15 year old twin girls!!

Hi

I actually work in credit control [:0]
It is strictly business not personal credit though!!!
I've now moved from looking after the small companies/sole traders etc. to looking after the really big guys though. I basically ensure the accounts run smoothly, deal with queries and then make sure payment comes in!
Not sure if my 'expertise' can help others, it didn't help me [:I]
