I used to be able to get my foot behind my head whilst sitting up, but I'm nowhere near as supple any more!

Phil The secret is to suck it. This stops your filling from pulling out and it is all lovely and gooey.

My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

For all you medical people out there!

I have just returned from a three day conference in York. On the first day I fell flat on my face infront of everyone! (and before you ask that was before the drinking session). Now at the time I thought the only thing I had damaged was my pride. I had a couple of bruised knees and broken nails but it appeared that my ample figure lets say had stopped my face hitting the floor.

The problem is the next day when I woke up, I could hardly move and everyday it is getting worse. I ache all over particularly in my neck, shoulders, down my arms and around my middle. It hurts like hell when I cough, sneeze, laugh etc. I feel like I have pulled every muscle in my upper body.

Can anyone suggest what is the best way of dealing with this?

Thanks
Dee

PS I have a habit of giving people something to talk about and at least it wasn't my dancing cause there was no way that was possible

Try giving NHS Direct a ring.

Hi ladyc

I just tried giving them a call but they are only dealing with urgent cases at the moment so I'll se hoe things are in the morning and if they are still as bad I'll try them again.

Hi dee I would say lady h the shake of falling over is what is the problem. It is a bit like bruising and as with a bruise it can get worse over a couple of days, very much like you have done a major workout and feel stiff all over. It should slowly improve over the next couple of days, if not I would see your doc. Bruised ribs from the shake is usually it the body takes quite a jolt when you fall like that.
Hope yu feel better soon.

Thanks for all your advice guys. I have been to A&E this afternoon as advised by NHS Direct. They agreed with you Ang - severe bruising which would get worse before it got better. They gave me Cocodomal to take along side my Nurofen.

Thanks again
Dee
