Hi havnt been on for a while had a bit of a rouh few months. My partner lost his job in jan , we have managed to make our payments , with my little lads DLA. Asked for a reduction in review to £200 from £250 but supervisor has said he doesnt think creditors will go for it as we have already had a reduction in past, because my partner had to go to work part time to help me care for our son.But he has let me reduce it til we get back on our feet, i think i will jst struggle on as we are .

I wanted to ask a question , in the original proposal we said that when my partner finishes his HP on bike we would pay this into iva . We were lucky that we took an insurance policy out on this and havnt had to pay it since he has been out of work.We have really struggled to pay this anyway through the iva .If my partner cant get a job with enough to pay an extra 194 a month on top of 250 what will happen? I thought ivas could reduce what you owe by upto 75% that doesnt seem to be the case.

Im really not sure, i will take a proper look when i get the review through post.I just cant see us being able to afford over £400 a month.I am tryin tofind out as much info as possible to argue my case.I can always argue that they should never have used my sons DLA in our income as it is for his extra care and that isnt taken into account in our allowances neither is the extra allowance you get in childrens tax credit.

I dont want my iva to fail because it has been a lifesaver . But if they want to take that much i will have to go bankrupt , they wont get anythin there because we are surviving on jobseekers at moment.I start a job in september but its not much a week as its part time . Prob just the same amount as jobseekers.

The last 3 years have flown .When i first started this 5 years seemed like a long way off. But it has gone so quick , in some ways i dread the review and other ways i cant wait, because its one year closer to the end.My advie to anyone is do it because the sooner you do the sooner its over.
