what will happen to attachment of earnings?

My husband has an attachment of earnings in the UK and we are moving to Spain in two weeks. At present, he has no employment lined up where as I have. Who do we contact and what will happen regarding his attachment of earnings? We have no intentions of moving back to the UK.

You will need to contact the Court in which the attachement of earnings order was awarded and explain the situation. You will probably then be asked to undertake to let them know when your husband does find suitable employment, so that the Order can be reinstated.
