Hello! Oh what an interesting topic! Ive already decided, I am going on a Rodney Fox shark cage dive in Southern Australia. It has been my dream to see great whites close up. It costs about £1000 for the 4 day trip and then obviously the air fair so i think im looking at about £5000 by the time ive added in a few days plus spending money etc..
Has anybody else got anything as exciting as this??!? [:D]

I will open a savings account, start a pension and save for a deposit on a house.

I won't ever get credit again and will try and stick to the budget I have at the moment. I think if I went shopping to treat myself my spending would quickly get out of hand again!

Can't wait to be debt free - roll on 4 years!

Ladyh and I both want to go storm chasing in the States Shazzles - I guess that counts as exciting.

Gill

I will grin for a month and feel so relieved. I have already decided that I will take a week off work and spend the week doing what I want to do. I may even think about working part time I will be able to afford it then[:D][:D]

i've just gone BR and this is what i've decided to do now that i can afford it (don't laugh) but i'm going to go to the dentist.for the last three years i havent had the cash to go and my teeth really need treatment.then i'll go to the opticians,i've managed to put that off for two years (anadins are cheaper than specs) then maybe i'll treat myself to something nice ,maybe some new bits for my computer or my 212th model car.[:D]
i'm not skint,i'm financially challenged

I am waiting for my IVA completion letter so this is very relevant for me.... and to be honest I've racked my brains and been through endless lovely options - but I have settled on saving and possibly a new pair of shoes... a far cry from my spending habits 5 years ago I can tell you!

I'll be able to pay my monthly wacking great huge vet bill without worrying about where the money is coming from!

So far since the 1st Jan 2008 I've spent £1,290 on vets bills (including the routine dental stuff) because one of the cats got seriously ill and needed hospitalisation but wasn't covered by insurance because they managed to wriggle out of it, the b*stards! Thank god for my vet being kind enough to cut me a few breaks with free treatment here and there!

I'm not laughing dentists and specs are expensive whilst on an IVA or BR. I have managed not to have to have new specs for 3 years but I know mt luck won't hold out for ever---still worry about that when it happens. And as for dental treatment I am living on hope and no toffees[:D]
