I'm currently in an iva and i'm single living on my own. I was just wondering what would happen if i got a partner or got married and how this would affect my iva?
You would probably fill out an new income and expenditure if you were to live together to make sure your partner was paying there share of the bills etc. This could well mean an increase in your IVA payments
I am single and in an iva also and it does cross my mind what would happen if I meet someone.
I don't think it makes any difference unless you decide to live together or get married as loneranger says.
I would not let it hold me back if I did find someone special,[:)]
Best wishes
Be positive & look after yourself, there are more important things in life than debts....
The new partner would only have to contribute pro-rata to that portion of the joint expenses such as rent, food electricity etc etc
