Hi
We currently have a joint IVA - what would happen in the event of us splitting up?

Thanks

You could carry on making your IVA payments with both of you agreeing to pay a share of the contribution in accordance with your respective earnings, or ask your IP to formally separate the agreements and thus continue to pay individually. The second option may make either of the IVA's not viable, so take advice from your own IP if this unfortunate event arises.

Welcome to the Forum Debbie,

It is possible that if you were to split up you could continue to pay into your IVA. The best thing to do if this does occurr is to contact your I.P to discuss the options available.
