If I got married.

Now this is an unusual question. I'm in an IVA, partner who I live with isn't aware of this.

I've moved into his house that he's got a mortgage on solely in his name and has done so for a number of years. We have agreed that I will not financially gain from the property should anything happen to him. I would remain in the property but his 2 children will get the property once I passed (oh dear this sounds awful!)

I'm just concerned if by getting married my IVA would expect me to use his house. They haven't in my IVA so far as I'm not married and did explain this situation.

Sorry to bable on![:D]

Your IVA will not affect his house however, his income will be taken into consideration to make sure you both pay your fair share towards the household. Anything after that is his to keep.

Does your IP know you have moved in with him?
The reason i ask is because come review time, your IP will need to see a revised I&E based on the fact that you now live with somebody and it may affect your payments.

Thanks for the reply Mrs Skint

Yes the IP is aware i'm living here, I was at the start of the IVA and did give them all the info. The money I give to him each month was ok'd by the IP.
