It should be easy to put forward a full and final based on your current situation and I am sure creditors would be sympathetic. The HMRC thing is still a joke but I am very old school.

Thanks Melanie....will try and reach you tommorrow....Nikki has been great and has helped as much as she could but as she explained she cannot say whether my offer is a good one to put to creditors or not, as what one creditor will be happy with another may not be. I was hoping for some sort of steer in regards to your companies experience in what's acceptable to offer given my position but alas I've just got to fire off my best offer and see if it gets accepted.

Good luck pennyless, 49 months imo, you have served your dues, if creditors choose to fail you at this late stage in the game (due to those circumstances), I would question why anyone would ever take out an IVA again.

I am sure when I look at this with Nikki we can be a little more helpful than we have been - but at the end of the day we cannot guarantee anything for you until we put your offer before creditors. Can you give me a call or drop me an e-mail so I can properly identify you please. I have a very busy day tomorrow, so e-mail will be better.

Thank you mole. I've never had an offer of full and final settlement rejected by creditors, and am sure that this is not going to be the first case, from the circumstances described.

Melanie have sent you an email. Nikki has been helpful as I say and has been really patient as I don't think a weeks gone by lately that I haven't telephoned or emailed her.

Well I've applied for a full & final.

Money has been transferred and date set as 28 Jan 14.

Still no signs of a permanent position.....infact out of 14 co-workers also made redundant a my depot only ONE has secured a permanent position and allof us are scrambling for work from agencies......whatever the Government says about the unemployed rates improving, they want to visit the North East!

Fingers crossed!

Thanks Lesley......would rather be employed then actually seeking a full & final as the IVA wasn't /isn't the problem......without work and steady money coming into the household I dont know from one week to the next if I can keep paying even my basic household bills.

Anyone contemplating taken/accepting redundancy needs to think long and hard about future employment......because if you think an IVA can be a struggle, take it from me its 100 times worse knowing you dont have a steady income.

Unfortunately I know Im not the only one thats being made redundant in this climate and my heart sincerely go's out to others in the same position.
