Hi evryone....my heads in a spin!!
All this thinking about what to do next, and if i do it...is it right??

Just had our first little row about wether it's the best thing to do!!

If my wife and i do an interlocking IVA, and it's rejected for whatever reason..can the creditors then make us both bankrupt??

If i go bankrupt because i can't afford the repayments on outstanding aggrements is my house safe??

We have just recived the valuation which gives us around ten thousand pounds equity, i also own a van which i need for work and get paid for using it which is shown on my wageslip. what happens???

Really don't know whats best...PLEASE HELP!!

Talk to an IP or 3 and if they think an IVA will get the green light then go for it,they really do not propose things that wont get off the ground as its a waste of time and money for them.

As for the van as its used for work I cant see it being a problem, and when you say you get paid for using it do you mean you get a mileage allowance??

Hi wannaBfree,

You do need to take some professional advice as to which is the best route for you. The experts who post on here take some beating and you can find their details under the experts link on the left hand side of the page.

It is unlikely your creditors will make you bankrupt as it costs them a fair bit of money.

The equity would need to be sorted out with the OR.

Hopefully, one of the experts will be along to help with more advice later.

Hi again,

I'm on with sorting the paperwork and will be sending it tommorow to Melanies' team...but just waiting and wondering is so stressfull. Then you think should i just pull the plug, but we've put so much in to this house over the last nine years...our kids and everything else...dunno maybe i think too much!!! :)

Nice to know it aint just me though.

Sorry got carried away...the van gets paid on a set daily amount with them paying for fuel. I still maintain the tax and insurance

You have chosen an excellent IP as the others have said. She comes very highly recommended on here.

Keep us informed as to how things are going.

If there is anything you want to chat through with me over the weekend, send me your phone number via my website and I will give you a call. It is natural to be going through all of the "what ifs" at the moment, but I am sure your case will be absoutely fine.
