Sorry another Geek when it comes to spreadsheets. You should see the one I have setup to monitor my income and expenditure against spend and IVA totals. It handles everything, overtime, bonuses, tax variations and I have it going up to 2014 [:0], I hope just to dump this spreadsheet at review time, to show and under or over payments and in support of any changes I want in expenses.

I just use last years, look at the figures and see what has gone up or down and mark it in pencil!

I dropped maths in the 3rd year at school (you could do that then!)

We all have our strengths, I struggled at school with English. I just scraped my O level in English Language but failed English Literature. Now I love reading!!!
Don't want to give the impression of one of these annoying kids you see on TV but I actually did my maths O level 2 years early and passed.

Snap!

I loved English and used to love writing essays when I was young but that tailed off. I think I failed my literature because although I loved the book we did (Far from the Madding Crowd), I hated Henry IV part one and loathed Wordsworth!

I've always loved reading and can get through three or four books in a week easily.

We were lumbered with Henry V. Not sure this follow up to Henry IV was any better [:p].

Not a big Shakespeare fan myself, although in 6th form we did go to see Sir Ian Mckellan in Hamlet who was starring along with a lot of other big names of the day.

They made it quite amusing believe it or not!

Me too. I love the library but I usually find that there is either nothing I want to read, or far too much to choose from!

Ours is a good library a lot of choice - just as well as I read all types [:D] I used to buy books and pass them on, but can't remember the last time I spent money on a book! I have looked in charity shops but think the books are overpriced...so I use the library and get books passed to me by friends and family.

It's rare that I buy books these days!

Our library is only a small one. There is usually something I want, how many I take out depends on what there is.

Am surpised that you did not need Maths to get into the Police Force Jan! Assume that was not a requirement in those days. And I imagine your English skills came in useful when writing up your police reports!

Hi All,
I don't use the library, instead I started a sort of library at work!! [:)]
Everyone brings in books, DVD's, CD's they want to exchange and so there is a ig choice for everyone. It seems to work well and it's free, my favourite price. When finished people can bring the item back so it gets passed on. [:)]

I do read some books over again. One of my favourites is Rebecca, Daphne du Maurier. Fantastic book and I've lost count of the number of times I've ready it.

Couldn't part with my books. I am very sad and have books on construction and also computer books like autocad and excel which I read and still use to refer back to.
