Thanks for all the good wishes folks, it is certainly a weight off my mind, but at the same time I am very pleased to see that Michael and Foggy are going to pursue the issue. It really was a horrendous shock when I realised the implications of the variation proposal terms. There really must be a better way of doing it than that. Anyhow, I hope that the threads have been at least instructive in terms of what might lie ahead for some of you, but, again, let me say that I did not expect my variation to go through [a lot of factors influenced that feeling, not least the black mood that I was in by virtue of the whole situation], yet it did and I am really thankful for that.

Last monthly payment made 3 June 2013 after 6 long years. CC issued 21 August 2013, but, er, lost in the post. Finally got it 17 September.
