Thanks Skippy

I would hate you to think I was being flippant, We just have to laugh at ourselves sometimes, dont we?

girls, you'd only cry if you didn't laugh!!

hope dave gets it sorted soon skippy, there is some bad ones out there unfortunately, i had an accident 8yrs ago whilst pregnant with Tom, i was hit head on and from behind and all i can remember and kept seeing was the car behind had 2 very small children in with no seat belts how they never came through the windscreen i don;t know, he gave false details but the car was registered in his name, my insurance co put out a private investigator only to find he had never had insurance for years, how would he have felt if his 2 kiddies had gone through that window, how he could have done that was beyond me luckily for me the girl who did cause the accident was insured, the only good thing that came out of it was when i was cut out of the car by the local fire hunks hmmm, only to discover i had a very huge and long ladder in my tights, seriously tho it took me 2 years to get back in a car and drive and still today hate anyone else driving me, if it had been left to the idiot behind me i wouldn't have had such a good claim as he had no insurance.

Oh Kerri, that's terrible. I used to work in the court service and the majority of cases were driving with no insurance and they's be back time and time again until they were disqualified - not that it made much difference, they only came back for driving whilst disqualified. It really winds me up that people do this - if the guy who I hit had insurance I would have pushed it further as I think my brakes failed. I hit them and nothing happened, but as he had no insurance it didn't really make a lot of difference, I was going to pay anyway!

Hi Skippy

Sorry but I read your earlier post and I couldn't help thinking somebody was about to tell a really bad joke....

"There was this drunk, uninsured, Latvian illegal immigrant....

I know it wasn't funny for you at the time but it just touched a nerve and started me giggling when I read it. Obviously no offence intended.

By the way what are your thoughts on the Champions League final now we are at half time in the semis?

Regards

Dave

Hi Dave, don't worry, I can laugh about it now, although I can still remember how painful the bruises were! That sort of thing could only happen to me, and just to add insult to injury it happened on New Year's Day! Can I just say that I hadn't been drinking the night before - I always worry that people will think I was drunk.

Aah yes, the Champions League - I think Utd can do it, although it will be hard in the San Siro next week. Just think back to Juventus 1999 - it can be done! I am a bit worried about the defence though, as they seem to be dropping like flies - we could have done without Evra getting the booking. I think that Utd just need to go at Milan next week - their heads went down when we equalised. I'm hoping that Chelsea get through as well - best of a bad choice really! What do you think?

I think the game changed when Gattuso went off. Gave Scholes and Carrick more room and time on the ball. Hope he isn't fit for Wed night. Just checked on Manutd.com and there's talk of possibly Vidic and Ferdinand being fit. We'll have to wait and see.

I'm quietly confident and dont really mind who we play if we get through. Being beaten by either would be a nightmare. Liverpool telling us how many more times than us they've won it and Chelski joining the elite by beating us. Perish the thought. The next few weeks could be very interesting.

Dave

I can't stand Gattuso - nasty little man! I know there's talk of Ferdinand coming back, but I didn't realise about Vidic - that would be good news. I read an interview with Fergie yesterday and he said that he is planning for a 3 man defence of Heinze, O'Shea and Brown - if that happens I fear Kaka will be rubbing his hands together!

I couldn't bear losing to either of those teams - we've got to stop Chelski doing the quadruple! Dave had the cheek to say to me that last night's game was as good as ours...

That's what we're here for Zoe! Dave says I make him laugh - usually as I have a tendancy to speak without thinking and end up sounding stupid. Oh well, if it makes someone else smile it's worth it!

Don't do too much housework Zoe, you're not supposed to do that on your days off! Although if the weather where you are is as bad as it is here then there's probably not a lot else to do!

It's chucking it down here! I'm off to the coast again at the weekend so I hope it brightens up!

Hmmm, Gary Barlow, not keen I'm afraid! If I'm reading I like a nice juicy thriller!

The more gruesome the better!

I was never into Take That, although I do like Robbie now he's solo. I'm afraid boy bands have never done it for me, although I do have a very varied taste in music - Dave despairs of me as well! When we were going through my assets for BR he suggested I put my CD collection down in the hope that they might seize it! He's being dragged off to see Meatloaf next month which he's really not looking forward to, but my mum bought me the tickets for Christmas so he's got no choice!
