when would I be able to consider getting mortgage

hi ive got 3 years left on my iva . ive recently got married and the wife would like to know when i would be able to consider getting a mortgage with her

Hi there. You can get a mortgage in an iva, as long as it would not affect your ability to maintain your repayments to the iva. I dont know a lot about mortgages so hopefully someone else will also advise. To the best of my knowledge you have to go to a subprime lender and will pay slightly more for it.

And you will need to have at least 15% to put down as a deposit, given your credit rating.
