I am a night shift worker that might be made redundant and I have been reading the posts on this forum for quite some time but cannot see any recent posts from Melanie Giles and David Mond since last Friday. Does anyone know why they have stopped posting?

They are missed when they're not around aren't they?

They should both be back by the weekend.

I strongly suspect that they are both keeping an eye on things from their various locations, even if they are not posting. I know that I do when I'm away, usually via an internet cafe.

Mrs Size says that I am as mad as box of frogs for doing so mind......

Regards.

I doubt if they would be too happy that everyone is wishing their well earned holidays away. As for Melanie, I wonder if she is going to try and get to France for the 6 Nations match on Friday night.

I can't believe that you know. A 6 nations game on a Friday night? Sacrilege, especially as it is Wales as well.

I know Melanie loves her rugby and there is interest here in the result as Wales are the only team other than Ireland that could win the Grand Slam. Personally, I am a football fan and will be more interested to see if Leeds can beat S****horpe on Saturday and move into the playoff places.

Michael, you've gone down in my estimation - a Leeds fan?!?!?

Since the age of 5. My eldest brother is an Arsenal fan and Leeds were playing them in the FA Cup final in 1972. I went against my brother, Leeds won 1 0 and I became a Leeds fan. Has not been an easy ride since!

In my earlier days, before wives, I used to follow Utd home and away. Been all over with them but I can honestly say the only place I felt seriously frightened was at Elland Rd. Even Liverpool was a walk in the park in comparison, so I have had, along with most Utd fans, a serious dislike of them ever since.

Still, we won't be playing them again in the premiership for quite a few years yet I imagine........

I've never been able to afford to follow Utd, and living with a Chelsea fan it's not an option! Last year my local non-league team Staines Town got to the 2nd round proper of the FA Cup. Obviously I wanted them to get the biggest team possible, but the one I really didn't want was Leeds Utd.

Why not Skippy. Leeds have a shocking record in the FA cup and were put out this year by a non league club Histon.

Size5. The scariest ground I ever went to was when I was at college in 1986. My friend was from Liverpool and we went to the fourth round game against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge which Liverpool won 2-1. I was living in London at the time but nearly ended up in Liverpool because the violence was so bad at the tube and train stations that the police were herding anyone who they believed to be a Liverpool fan onto special trains at Paddington. My tube pass saved me and my friend and I had to run across tracks to get away. She had the broadest Liverpool accent so I told her to keep her mouth shut until we got on the tube back to Bethnal Green.
