The only reason I didn't want Leeds was because of the reputation for violence - I live round the corner from Staines' ground and I didn't fancy a brick through window!

As I said I've never been able to follow Utd 'live', but I can remember a few years ago Dave and I were on holiday when Utd played Chelsea. We found a pub to watch it, and I have never been so frightened - all (I'm not exaggerating!) of the others in the pub were sitting there in their Chelsea shirts, drunk before the match started! Luckily I wasn't wearing a Utd shirt, or anything else to associate me with them, but I can honestly say I've never before or since watched a match willing Utd to lose!

Before I knew Dave him and his mate (also a Chelsea supporter) got 2 tickets for Liverpool Chelsea - in the Liverpool end! Chelsea scored and Dave's mate jumped up and cheered - Dave thought they would be lynched! Surprisingly they got out alive!

Skippy, tell Dave that my screensaver is a picture of John Terry crying in the rain.

That should cheer him up.....

Excellent Size5! There were some brilliant jokes going round after that - not sure Dave found them funny though!

I'm not a very happy footie fan today [:(]

I've been to Elland Rd, but the most intimidating ground I've been to is Ninian Park.

I'll back you up Michael, being a Leeds fan all my life I have been used to the grief we seem to get from every other football fan in the country. The only reputation Leeds had for violence was on the field in the 70's. [;)]

I see Swan's Girl is Swansea girl and she is braver than me if she has been to Ninian Park. Cardiff fans are ten times worse than Leeds fans ever were and I remember Sam Hamman stirring up trouble when Leeds lost there in 2002. With Ridsdale there now after bankrupting Leeds there is not much love between the two.

Unlucky last night Julie. Fulham have a great home record and to go one up and lose must be gutting. However, bigger fish to fry and if you can keep your run going there is a play off place up for grabs.

Of course Leeds have our Mr Trundle to help you out [:D]
