where can i get copy of the settlement document

i took out iva aprox 15 years ago in portsmouth, i settled it the following year, i am re-mortgaging and they need a copy of the settlement document, where can i get it from a si do not have it any more

Hi bri07 and welcome to the forum

If you have not kept a copy yourself, I do not think that your IP will have kept one, as we are only required to keep records for 10 years from the date we ceased to act. Surely a mortgage company do not need evidence of this IVA which was concluded over 14 years ago?

Maybe your IP or the firm that you used would be kind enough to confirm in a letter that your IVA was concluded 14 years ago.
Does seem strange that the mortgage company still needs this info
